Recycling in Seton Hill + Volunteers Needed

As you have likely heard, due to staffing shortages caused by the coronavirus pandemic, DPW workers who normally handled recycling collection were shifted to trash pickup, and this continues. Baltimore City will not resume curbside recycling pickup in November as expected, and is unlikely to do so until at least Dec. 15.

As we did when recycling pickup in the city was paused for three weeks back in June, the Seton Hill Association is reaching out to neighbors interested in collection and transport of recycling to the Sisson Street Citizen Drop-Off Center, located at 2840 Sisson Street, which is open Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

SHA can help with a central collecting point for Saturday mornings at 10:00-10:15 a.m. and Tuesday evening drop offs 6:00-6:15 p.m. at the park building. We are looking for volunteers to help with transport to Sisson St. Contact: President@setonhill.org

Please only bring clean recycling in boxes or labeled tubs or cans so we can return them to you: plastic bags are not accepted. See the Single Stream Recycling below.
