There’s plenty of great ways to be part of Seton Hill! Any commitment is helpful, whether you can spare just a few hours a year, or show up every week.
Show up to something
The lowest-commitment way to get involved: just show up! No membership required. See the full calendar for dates.
- Monthly park cleanups
- Baltimore Bike Party
- Orchard Street Garden parties
- Annual Flea Market
- Free yoga
Come to a meeting
General meetings are open to everyone: 2nd Tuesday, 7:30–8:30pm, hybrid (Zoom and sometimes in-person at St. Mary’s Park building). Board meetings are 1st Tuesday and open to interested members; email president@setonhill.org to attend.
Volunteer your time
Cleanups, the garden, and the board all run on volunteer hours. Four hours of service in a year also qualifies you for a Seton Hill Association membership at no cost, if dues would be a hardship.
Become a member
Membership gets you a vote on neighborhood decisions and the right to run for the board. Dues run $15–$30/year depending on household or business, with the volunteer option above if that’s a barrier. See the membership page for the full details and sign-up.
Run for the board
Board elections happen every October. Any member who’s attended one meeting in the past 12 months is eligible to run; see the Board and Bylaws page for the specifics.
