Who’s eligible to run
Per the SHA bylaws, a candidate must:
- Be a Vote-eligible Member: at least 18, current on dues, and either living in Seton Hill (owner or tenant), owning a residence here without living in it, or serving as the designated representative of a business or institution within the boundaries.
- Have attended at least one Association meeting in the past 12 months.
Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer) can’t serve more than three consecutive terms in the same office, so a long-serving officer may be term-limited out of running for that specific seat again, though still eligible to run for a different one.
Nominating yourself or someone else
Use the form below to nominate yourself or another eligible member for any position, the nominee just needs to consent to serve and meet the requirements above. You’re not limited to this form, though: the bylaws also allow additional nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting itself, so a name that isn’t submitted in advance can still be nominated in person in the October meeting.
