SHA Board Nomination Form

Use this form to nominate a member for an officer position on the Seton Hill Association Board.

To be eligible for an elective office, a person must have been a member of the association in good standing for at least six (6) months. The six months rule to run for office means on April 13, 2026 is when you would have had to become a member.

For those eligible to run, you can nominate yourself. If you would like to nominate
another member, please make certain that the nominee is willing to serve and is a current member for six months.

Nominations for elected positions will close on September 20, 2026 at 11:00p.m. Absentee Ballots will be available to members by requests starting on October 1, 2026 and shall be returned to the “Nomination, Committee” on or before October 12, 2026 by 11:00 p.m.

General Election Meeting

  • Annual General Meeting is:
    • October 13, 2026

Nomination For Office Schedule

  1. Nominations for Office starts/opens on:
    • August 15, 2026 (4th day after August General Meeting )
  2. Nominations for Office ends:
    • September 20, 2026 (Day of the last Board Meeting for the year).
  3. Membership Renewal Schedule
    • Renewal opens to current members 4th day after August General Meeting).
    • Membership Applications starts:
      • August 15, 2026
  4. Absentee Ballots Schedule
    • Requests for Absentee Ballots starts:
      • Starts first day of October of every year
    • Absentee Ballots are due on:
      • October 12, 2026 (One day before the October Elections)
    • All members that want to vote must have their membership renewed by this date to have their “Absentee Ballot” counted
      • October 12, 2026 at 5:00 pm
  5. The Slate of Nominations:
    • Shall be read at the previous meeting of the Board of Directors on:
      • September 20, 2026
    • Shall be included in the “Newsletter/Notice to Membership” at least:
      • 2 weeks prior to Annual Meeting:
        • September 29, 2026 (14 days as per the by-laws).
