Trash & recycling pickup
Tuesdays: recycling, morning pickup. Set bins out no earlier than 6pm Monday evening.
Fridays: trash, morning pickup. Set cans out no earlier than 6pm Thursday evening. City rules are that trash must be in a can with a tight-fitting lid and stored on your property, not the sidewalk, except during the pickup window.
Missed pickup, illegal dumping, or a bulk-trash appointment all go through Baltimore 311.

Residential parking permits
Seton Hill sits in Residential Parking Area 10. On blocks posted for permit parking, a vehicle without a valid Area 10 permit is limited to whatever time the posted sign allows. The sign on your own block is the final word, since limits can differ street to street.
At a glance

- Standard cost: $20 per permit, per year
- Permits per address: Up to 4 residential permits, one per registered vehicle
- Valid: October 1 – September 30. Permits do not roll over, the must renew before October 1 each year.
- Format: Decal, our area has not moved to virtual yet
Getting your permit
- Gather your documents. What you need depends on whether you’re an established resident, brand new to the neighborhood, or keeping a second address.
- Apply or renew. Online through the Parking Authority’s portal at pabc.myparkinginfo.com, or in person at 211 N. Paca Street (the former Lexington Market building) Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm.
- Renew every year, before October 1. Every vehicle needs a current Maryland registration re-checked at renewal.
What you’ll need, by situation
- Already living here: A Maryland driver’s license and a current Maryland vehicle registration, both showing your Seton Hill address. If your address hasn’t caught up yet, an MVA change-of-address card, a current student ID with class schedule, or an enrollment letter can stand in for either document.
- Just moved in: You qualify for a 60-day temporary permit while your Maryland paperwork catches up. Bring your out-of-state license and registration, plus one of: a signed lease, settlement or closing documents, or a utility bill (BGE, Xfinity, etc.) less than 30 days old.
- Own a home here and elsewhere: A property tax bill proving you own the Seton Hill address, your vehicle’s registration at the other address, and a current utility or tax bill for both properties.
