Park Cleanup – Thursday 5/13 @ 6:00

Weed and clean up this Thursday evening.

The sun shines, the rain showers, and the weeds grow. Please come join your neighbors early evening this Thursday to help weed and clean up our streets. We will do this while keeping a safe distance from each other.

Seton Hill Association can provide disposable gloves, gardening gloves, and tools. Please come wearing a mask.

Meet you in St Mary’s Park by the building for tools between 6-7 pm.

Wednesday, April 22nd is Earth Day

Friends of St Mary’s Park of Seton Hill Association wish you all well in these stressful times and encourage you to take a little time to enjoy a sunny day celebrating the earth by enjoying our beautiful (if currently somewhat overgrown) St Mary’s Park.

Stroll or jog on a pathway, absorb some sunshine sitting on a bench, admire blossoms or listen to birdsong

Seton Hill Association wants to assist neighbors who would like to help keep our park, streets and neighborhood clean and beautiful, whether on earth day or any other day. For this purpose we have purchased several clean up tools such as brooms, shovels and trash pick-up sticks which we are happy to loan out and share.Please contact Kfrench@setonhill.org to arrange equipment loans.

Remember to follow these guidelines:

•   Do not come to the park if you have any flu-like or Covid19- type symptoms

•   Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, etc.

•   At all times observeCDC’s minimum recommended social distancing of six feet from other people. Keep it as you walk or work.

•   Wear a mask as recommended by our Governor to protect yourself and others

Park Cleanup – Thursday 4/16 @ 6:00

With the spring showers and sunshine everything is growing including the weeds! If you feel like some further exercise help please come and help to pull some weeds and pick up some trash; again with full safety practices in mind.

Friends of St Mary’s Park of the Seton Hill Association will provide guidance to distinguish weeds from flowers (if needed) and can provide double sets of gloves for each weed puller/gardener along with trash pick-up sticks and other tools.  

We will also ask that you follow these guidelines:

•          Observe at all times CDC’s minimum recommended social distancing of six feet from other people. Practice it and know what it looks like. Keep it as you walk or work.

•         Wear a mask to protect yourself and other park workers

We will meet near the park building entrance at 6 p.m. this Thursday evening.
