Hey Neighbor! Elections, Parking, and Pizza in the Garden
Reminder: Elections Are Coming
Interested in joining the board?
Slight correction to our previous emails that stated a person must have been a member of the association in good standing for at least six (6) months. This was incorrect, as per the SHA bylaws, a candidate must:
- Be a Vote-eligible Member: at least 18, current on dues, and either living in Seton Hill (owner or tenant), owning a residence here without living in it, or serving as the designated representative of a business or institution within the boundaries.
- Have attended at least one Association meeting in the past 12 months.
You may nominate yourself or if you would like to nominate another member, please make certain that the nominee is willing to serve and meets the previous requirements
Beep Beep! Renew Your Parking Permit
Your residential parking permit needs to be renewed before October 1, permits don’t roll over automatically.
Pizza Party in the Garden
Saturday, September 19th
The SHA is hosting a make-your-own-pizza party at the Orchard Street Community Garden this Saturday, September 19th at 1pm, using ingredients grown right there (plus a few from the store).
We’re looking for volunteers to help make it happen, [sign up here].
