Events in June

Saturday June 8th the Greater Baltimore Urban League are having a block Party on Orchard St to kick-off their 100-year campaign!  This event will include fun resources for the community to include wellness, arts & literature, free hamburgers and hotdogs, face painting and blood pressure checks, just to name a few. They expect to have about 500 people attend the block party, and have asked vendors to use street parking on Pennsylvania Ave and Druid Hill Ave.

Also Saturday is the pedestrian takeover along historic Charles Street from Saratoga St. to North Ave. from 11am to 6pm. With a Station North After Party from 6pm to 9pm. See https://charlesstreetpromenade.com/ for details.

Tuesday June 11th

6 -7pm free weekly yoga in the park continuesBring a water bottle and your mat, or borrow one of ours for some stretching in the shade.

 7-8pm SHA general meetingcome and hear about events we’re planning, suggest and vote on which summer movie to show in the park, and hear about the proposed Harbor place development. We welcome all to attend in person at the park building, but will provide a Zoom link. Agenda and zoom invite will be sent out Sunday.

June 13th 6-7.30pm is our monthly neighborhood weed and cleanup. Meet at the park by the building for tools and gloves. Look to our Instagram account and Facebook for potential weed and wine evening.

June 15th is the Orchard St Community Garden Opening Celebration.

July 13th is the Seton Hill Flea market in St Mary’s Park. Get details at the general meeting or look out for upcoming postings.

Free Yoga in the Park

The Seton Hill Association is excited to announce that we’ll be hosting free yoga in the park every Tuesday this summer from 6pm – 7pm in St Mary’s Park.

The Seton Hill Association has 10 mats to lend out, should you need one!

Election Day is tomorrow! If you didn’t early vote, or aren’t voting by mail, make sure you make a plan to vote in person tomorrow, 14 May 2024.
