The Seton Hill Association hosts monthly neighborhood cleanups to maintain the safety, accessibility, and environmental health of St. Mary’s Park and the surrounding historic district.
Cleanup Schedule & Details
- When: The 2nd Thursday of every month at from 5:30pm to 7pm.
- Where: Meet at the St. Mary’s Park building (across from 546 Saint Mary Street).
- What to Expect: Volunteers clear litter/weeds, sweep public pathways, and assist with seasonal park maintenance.
- Supplies Provided: The Association supplies all necessary equipment, including trash grabbers, heavy-duty work gloves, and trash bags.
Volunteer & Membership Benefits
Participating in monthly cleanups directly impacts the neighborhood’s quality of life and offers additional civic benefits:
- Earn a SHA Membership: Contributing just four (4) hours of volunteer service annually waives the fee for an individual Seton Hill Association membership.
- Contribute to your health: An hour of easy outdoor movement, a chance to meet your neighbors, and a park that looks better when you leave than when you arrived.
